john mcdonald, pianist, composer:
John McDonald is Associate Professor of Music at Tufts University.
Active as both composer and pianist, his works have been commissioned and performed by soloists and organizations worldwide.
He recently completed a Fleet Celebrity Series Commission for pianist Andrew Rangell, and curates a newly established weekly Sunday event entitled Behind the Scenes: Composers at the Piano at the Zeitgeist Gallery in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
