Puerto Rican composer Dan Román has developed a style integrating basic elements of the folkloric music of the Caribbean with the mechanics of minimalism and the aesthetics of postmodern art.
Dan Román holds a degree in classical guitar performance from the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico and a Master's in composition from the Hartt School. He currently lives in Hartford and is finishing his Doctorate in composition.
